Warframe

Warframe is a free to play cooperative third-person shooter action game with elements of role playing games. All major DLCs and updates are completely with optional skin and weapon packs to purchase. Players play as a race of humans known as the Tenno and can control robot like creatures know as warframes. They have to battle many different alien races to protect the solar system.

Tenno

The Tenno are humans who have gained powers from the void. This allows then to shot void energy and teleport. The main use of this power is to use it for controlling robot like creatures know as warframes. Players using their Tenno form can use a hand laser or a gun to attack.

Warframes

Warframes are the creatures that the player controls most of the time they play the game. Currently there are more than 50 different types a character can use. At the start the player can chose between 3 starter warframes called Excalibur, Volt and Mag. All frames have their own kits of abilities making them all have their use cases. To earn more warframes a user has to either buying them for real money or by crafting them. To craft them a user needs to find blueprints and wait for the parts to be fully crafted. On average to craft a new Warframe takes 3.5 days.

Weapons

In Warframe there are many different weapons that a player can chose from ranging from assault rifles to hammers to ship cannons. This allows a player to chose their own unique playstyle. Weapons have a default element that allows it to be more efficient to certain enemy types. Alongside this Warframe includes a very in depth modding system that allows you to add mods to guns. This further allows players build their own playstyle by making weapons shoot multiple elements, increase fire rate, increase range, increase critical chance and more. Weapons can be crafted by the player and require between 12 to 24 hours to craft.

Primes

Primes are Warframes and weapons that are upgraded versions. They normally include a few state boosts compared to the original version. They are typically white and gold in colour. To get these primes you either have to trade for blueprints or open void relics. Void relics are loot boxes that you can get from completing missions. They can only be opened by completing void storm missions. Once unlock you will get 1 of the items listed on the relic. These relics normally rotate every 3 months making some primes unobtainable unless trading. This is a major part of the end game.
